Andrea Johnson began her dance training in California at the Peninsula School of Performing Arts. Later, she trained at the Academy of Ballet Arts and performed with Mountain West Ballet. Andrea has had several leading roles with Mountain West Ballet including Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, the Frog Princess in Paul Murphy's The Frog Prince and Swanhilda in Coppelia. Andrea completed her BFA with a teaching emphasis from the University of Utah and was the recipient of the Willam F. Christensen scholarship. Andrea has been teaching at Mountain West Ballet School since 2006.
