Yvette Mignerey Atkin began her ballet training in Colorado at the Arvada Center Ballet School. Later, Yvette trained with the Artistic Director as an apprentice teacher. Yvette graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in ballet with a teaching emphasis and was the recipient of a departmental scholarship. Yvette has been involved with Mountain West Ballet since 1996 as a rehearsal assistant for various productions and choreographer for “Stars and Stripes”, “An Evening of Ballet”, “Coppelia” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Yvette is Vice President of Mountain West Ballet School.
